February flew by at GivingPoint!
Social Innovators Academy
Our SIA students are continuing to make progress on their projects and plans. This past month the focus was branding and marketing for their projects.
GivingPoint staff De’Andre and Jessica presented to the South Fulton and North Fulton cohorts, which allowed for a very hands-on session with the students, giving them a chance to share their successes and struggles when it comes to marketing their projects. In-School Social Innovators Academy
Our in-school SIA programs are moving right along as well! Both the Milton and Roswell High School programs had a mix of workshops and one-on-one meetings this month. We can’t wait to see what things these students accomplish!
Upcoming for GivingPoint
This month we have also been busy with a few other things, including finalizing our 2018 Annual Report, and planning our annual Sparks event. Stay tuned for details on both of those projects!
Applications for GivingPoint’s Social Innovators Academy are due soon. We are looking for changemakers and leaders who are ready to put their passion to action!
Applications for summer are due 3/31, and for the school year are due 5/1.
Our summer SIA program has three options:
- June 3rd – 7th at Constellations in Downtown Atlanta
- June 10th – 14th at The Cottage School in Roswell
- June 17th – 21st in Forsyth County
Our other program options are during the school year, either on Saturdays or weeknights. Learn more about 2019-2020 SIA here.
